And The Nominees Are...

Considering the BAFTAs took place a night before the Grammys I've been a little backwards with the posts. But here goes... My Best Dressed at this year's BAFTAs...

Gemma Arteton wore a Celia Kritharioti gown, nude and black velvet and one shouldered... this dress was lovely but Gemma should have taken it in at the waist where it looks a little baggy. The gorgeous Eve Alice also opted for nude and black in Alessandra Rich. The actress looked elegant and sleek.
American Actresses Anne Hathaway and Jennifer Garner chose gowns that drew attention to their upper half. Hathaway wore a gorgeous column gown by Burberry which featured mini reflective discs. My only issue with this dress is Anne. I've officially decided I just don't like her. Jenny on the other hand I'm starting to love. She's scored a hat-trick in this Roland Mouret monochrome dress, which does wonders for her figure.
Amy Adams for me was THE best dressed in Elie Saab Couture. Her lace gown which featured a huge slit provided her with just the right balance between elegant and sexy. She accessorised her look with gold Casadei sandals, ruby drop earrings and a high bun. #high5.
Beading is always a great showstopper. Case in point Elizabeth Olsen in Chanel Couture and Paloma Faith in Nicholas Oakwell. Olsen junior looked feminine and romantic in a black and white tiered gown that featured tassels. Miss Faith also looked feminine and romantic and surprisingly simple. A far cry from her usual cray accessorising.

Marion Cotillard and Andrea Roseborough brightened up the red carpet in yellow. Marion was slightly reminiscent of Jennifer Lawrence at the SAGs in her Christian Dior gown featured a similar but more prominent sheer panel across the knees. Andrea on the other hand in Vivienne Westwood, was reminiscent of Bella from Beauty and the Beast. Both ladies looked stunning though.
